Biography
Alexander Mikhailovich Tarko was born on 8 November 1944 in Saratov. He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (MIPT) in 1969. Ph.D. in Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1977), Dr.Sc., Doctor of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (1992), Professor of Mathematical Cybernetics (1996).
His research interests include the mathematical modeling of global and regional biosphere processes, the global carbon and nitrogen cycles, climate and anthropogenic impact, biosphere stability, the noosphere, and the long-term development of humankind.
